  • A yield of 80.00% is good and considered acceptable in most teaching and industrial labs. Some loss during isolation and purification is normal.

  • Theoretical yield (9.0000 g) is the upper ceiling set by the limiting reagent. It is never truly achievable because some product is always lost during purification, transfer, and drying.
