Standard computes growth between two periods. CAGR averages growth across several years. Quarterly annualizes a one-quarter change. Reverse-solve finds the previous GDP given the current GDP and target growth rate.
Real GDP removes the effect of inflation so growth reflects actual output changes. Nominal GDP uses current prices and includes inflation.
