Dr. Laura Schmidt is a senior consultant cardiologist at the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin, where she has worked for over a decade in the management of complex cardiovascular disease and the design of structured prevention programmes. She trained in medicine at Charité, Universitätsmedizin Berlin before completing an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, a combination that shaped her approach to translating population-level risk data into decisions at the bedside.
